Home is when you know where the light switch is.

This is one definition I once heard about what home is to a friend of mine. When you can walk about in darkness and still know exactly where to find the right light switch, you are at home.

We want to make you feel at home while working with Trayn, but from the very beginning. This is why we we’ve been working on an interactive tutorial that sheds some light on the most important features for trainers:

• Customize a session
• Create an athlete
• Assign a session or micro cycle to your athlete

Learning through performing

I have another saying for you: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. We didn’t just want to point out buttons and positions inside the web-app but instead let users experience features first-hand. This is why you’ll have to perform certain tasks to successfully complete the tutorial.

Quick but important tutorials

The most fun but also challenging part for us was to come up with a solution on how to easily and clearly guide you through the first steps of using trayn without losing you between possibilities and buttons. Since there is much you can do inside the Trayn app we had to define exact steps inside the tour. An animated frame takes you from task to task, highlighing the next step in focus. We eliminated “wrong” interactions by disabling all other buttons which are not inside this frame.
